COVID-19 Updates and Precautions
A note from US
First, we want to say we are sorry, this is not fair to you, your fiancé, and your loved ones. We hope you are healthy and your loved ones are healthy. It is safe to say this is a situation that is new to us all and in times like this, we believe transparency and assurance are paramount. We understand this is heartbreaking and devastating to our couples and their families and our hearts are saddened by the spread of this virus. We want to work with you to make the right decisions regarding your wedding. We thank you for working with us as we all navigate this incredibly emotional time.
If you're reading this that means that we are the lucky photographers you've chosen and trusted to document one of the most precious and memorable days of your life. We want to take this time to reiterate how much we value the connection and relationship that we have already established and how vital sustaining that healthy relationship will be come the day of your wedding.
Covid-19 Rescheduling policies
If federal, state, and/or county regulations arise that would prohibit your wedding from taking place all together, our team is committed to working with you to postpone your wedding or session, pending availability. We also understand that your event may not yet fall under specific restrictions but you may choose to reschedule, we will work with you to find the best date for rescheduling.
1. Clients may reschedule to a peak Friday or Saturday which we are available for. To book a peak Friday or Saturday 15% of your package for Fridays or 25% of your package for Saturdays will be applied as a change fee. Change fee is waived for non-peak dates: all Sundays or any non peak dates (non peak is November - March).
2. The rescheduling procedure will be 2 documents. First, we will send you a cancellation agreement. This will cancel your original contract, your original retainer will be forfeited with this contract. Second, we will issue you a new wedding photography contract. This new contract will be less the amount of your first retainer. 50% of your remaining balance will be required as a new non-refundable retainer, if not already paid, that amount will be due at the time of signing the new contract. If there is a fee associated with moving your wedding date, that fee will be applied to your contract package.
Now that our rescheduling policies have been shared we are sure you have questions - many of which that we would have if our event were being affected by this virus. We believe open communication is important, and as a small business in a global pandemic we have no option but to be vulnerable with you, the wonderful couples who have made the choice to support our small business. Some of you are in the event and service industry and some of you are even in the wedding industry and understand first hand how delicate our booking seasons are. But to simplify answers and questions, we have listed them below in a Q & A format to hopefully answer your questions without forcing you to read any further lengthy paragraphs that may not pertain to you.
Please do keep us updated with any potential dates so we can do our best to accommodate availability. We have compiled a list of dates we are available for the remainder of 2022 and 2023, please see link below. If you are interested in moving to 2021 please contact us as soon as possible, dates are booking quickly. In the event that we are not available for a date that you choose, there are several options that we are happy to discuss.
*We would be happy to “soft hold” up to 3 dates for you, this means that we will notify you if any other couples show interest in the dates you have requested. We are only able to fully hold dates with a signed contract and paid retainer.
We truly hope everyone stays healthy and we are here to navigate this with you all.
Love,
Magda and Simon
