I discovered photography when I was eleven, after finding my mother’s manual Nikkormat film SLR. One summer, I took a photography and darkroom elective at camp, and from that moment, I was hooked. Photography has been woven into my life ever since.
I went on to study cultural anthropology at Penn State, initially planning to pursue documentary filmmaking. While my path ultimately led me elsewhere, the heart of what I learned; curiosity, observation, and storytelling has deeply shaped the way I photograph weddings today.
Beyond the camera, I have an enduring love for cartoons of every kind and all things Star Wars (if Magda isn’t watching Law & Order). I’ve spent the better part of a decade studying martial arts, and I’ll never turn down a good whiskey at the end of the day.
What keeps me passionate is the challenge and joy of capturing true emotion, discovering fresh ways to tell each love story as honestly and beautifully as it unfolds. Because to me, true love is one of the most extraordinary things on this planet, and finding new ways to honor that is endlessly inspiring.
Simon
I didn’t pick up a camera early in life. My first creative love was dance. I earned my BA in Dance and Composition from Muhlenberg College, captivated by the way movement could be captured in a single, powerful frame.
It was Simon who taught me the art and craft of photography, a journey that had its share of late nights, learning curves, and more than a few martinis shared along the way. Over time, photography became as much a part of me as dance once was, and now I truly couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
We’re now parents to two energetic boys, Asher and Remy, and learning to navigate parenthood has brought us immeasurable joy — and, unexpectedly, a deeper love for storytelling through our lens. When I’m not photographing weddings with Simon, you’ll probably find me chasing the kids around the house or unwinding with my guilty pleasure: Law & Order SVU.
I love photographing weddings because I know firsthand how much of a joyful blur that day can be. I remember how grateful I felt for the photos that captured all the big moments — and all the little ones I had almost forgotten. Today, I delight in doing the same for others, celebrating alongside each couple and sharing in that giddy, unforgettable excitement.
